Volunteer Information
Volunteers make the magic happen! The Christmas Connection Operations Site opens December 1, and is open seven days a week during the holiday season.
In 2023, 130 volunteers worked a total of 3,636 hours!
Volunteers at the Christmas Connection Collection site are similar to Santa's elves, helping to sort, shop, and pack gifts in preparation for delivery. However, the need does not stop there! Volunteers who organize collection drives or Adopt a Family are crucial to Christmas Connection's mission of bringing the Christmas Spirit to those who need it most.
Collection Drive
You can coordinate a Collection Drive with your neighborhood, office, gym, or book club and deliver the collected items to the Christmas Connection site by December 8, 2024. It's a fun, easy way to help bring Christmas cheer to others, and a great opportunity for teens to get community service credits!

Collection Site Volunteers
Advance registration is required to volunteer at the Christmas Connection Collection Site and a signed Release of Liability and Media Release forms are required of ALL volunteers. The Release of Liability Form can be found below; please review, print, and bring the signed form with you when you come to volunteer. There will also be copies of this form available at the collection site.
The Christmas Connection Collection Site is an active warehouse environment and is not appropriate for babies, toddlers, or young children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome when in the company of a parent or guardian. A signed Release of Liability Form is required for youth volunteers and must be signed by a parent or guardian.
