Volunteers make the magic happen! The Christmas Connection site is open seven days a week during the holiday season.
Volunteers at the Christmas Connection Collection site are similar to Santa's elves, helping to sort, shop, and pack gifts in preparation for delivery. However, the need does not stop there! Volunteers who organize collection drives or Adopt a Family are crucial to Christmas Connection's mission of bringing the Christmas Spirit to those who need it most.
Collection Drive
You can coordinate a Collection Drive with your neighborhood, office, gym, or book club and deliver the collected items to the Christmas Connection site by a designated date. It's a fun, easy way to help bring Christmas cheer to others and a great opportunity for teens to get community service credits!
Truck List
We are also in need of volunteers with trucks to help with picking up donations or making deliveries. Once the Christmas Connection site opens, an electronic sign-up sheet will be posted with details about volunteering.
Collection Site Volunteers
Advance registration is required to volunteer at the Christmas Connection Collection Site and a signed Release of Liability Form is required of ALL volunteers.
The Christmas Connection Collection Site is an active warehouse environment and not appropriate for babies, toddlers, or young children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome when in the company of a parent or guardian. A signed Release of Liability Form is required for youth volunteers and must be signed by a parent or guardian.
